860Au–Ag–GOx HTNs60nmTEMAs shown in TEM image and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) image (Fig. 1(a) and Fig. S1 in the Electronic Supplementary Material (ESM)), well-distributed Ag nanoprisms were prepared successfully with the thickness of around 10 nm (inserted image). Next, the Au–Ag HTNs were prepared by galvanic replacement reaction. The as-prepared Au–Ag HTNs displayed well-maintained shape of Ag nanotemplates with the average size of 60 nm.
