1275BIPOSSEMMaterials B1Fe-Syn1 and B1Fe-Syn2 ( Figure 2 , a and b) have uniform and hierarchical structures, composed of nanoscale sheets/leaves and forming globular structures. These are bigger for Syn1 (~5 μm in B1Fe-Syn1 ) than for Syn2 (~500 nm in B1Fe-Syn2 ). The smaller structures in the latter material are ~250 nm long.
